Microneedling is a procedure that uses small needles to puncture the skin over 16,000 times per second. The purpose of this treatment is to regenerate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin.
Microneedling is mostly used on the face for treatment of scars, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and large pores. Although its mainly used on the face, it can be used on generally any part of the body that has those same conditions above.
This treatment is often combined with PRP for a better result and faster healing time. During the PRP portion of this treatment, our doctor will draw your blood and spin it in the centrifuge, allowing the rich plasma to surface. We will then extract the plasma and microneedle your plasma back onto your face. This helps increase the positive affects of microneedling.
